No! A common misconception about acupuncture is that it hurts. While most people do not feel anything during an acupuncture treatment, some may experience a light sensation - but not pain or discomfort. Instead, it’s a positive response that the treatment is working and the acupuncture point is being activated.
At AcuBliss, we use an extremely light needling technique which our patients appreciate. The majority of our patients do not feel the needles being inserted and say our treatments make them feel good.

Each person responds to acupuncture differently. For some, relief is immediate. For others, it takes several sessions to feel significant changes.
Dr. Amorette will craft a clear treatment plan for you, detailing how many times you should visit based on your particular condition. She will also share how many sessions she believes it will take for your specific goals to be met.

As with any treatment, acupuncture may cause minimal side effects in some individuals. While it’s considered a safe practice, some have experienced mild bruising, soreness, or temporary sensations at the needle insertion sites.
It is important to discuss any concerns or pre-existing conditions with Dr. Amorette prior to treatment.

Acupuncture offers powerful support for both emotional and physical well-being. As one of the oldest healing systems in the world, it helps promote balance from stress to discomfort and more.
At AcuBliss, we use acupuncture to support pain relief, emotional wellness, reproductive vitality, and overall balance. It’s even more effective when combined with other traditional Chinese medicine techniques.

Emerging research shows that acupuncture can support reproductive wellness by encouraging natural cycle balance, promoting healthy circulation, and easing emotional tension. At AcuBliss, we believe that nurturing overall well-being creates the foundation for future vitality.
Whether you're navigating a natural path or receiving additional reproductive support, we’re here to walk with you every step of the way.
As with all of our patients, Dr. Amorette will create a personalized care plan tailored to your individual wellness journey.
